NEW MUSIC: ACE HOOD FEAT. TY DOLLA $IGN – ‘I KNOW HOW IT FEEL’

If there’s one thing everybody in hip-hop can agree on, it’s that nothing sounds better than Ty Dolla $ign on a chorus. He’s the go-to troubadour for rappers trying to give their sound a hint of golden-voiced melody.

Ace Hood is the latest to enlist Dolla $ign for “I Know How It Feel,” the first single from his forthcoming album Beast of the South, which will be released on DJ Khaled’s label We the Best Music.

Produced by Ben Billions and Schife Karbeen, it’s a contemplative anthem with delicate synth trills—Ace Hood takes the opportunity to reflect on his transition from street hustle to wealth in verses slathered in Auto-Tune.

NEW MUSIC: OMARION FEAT. DEJ LOAF, TREY SONGZ, TY DOLLA $IGN, & RICK ROSS – ‘POST TO BE (REMIX)’

Omarion recruits a team of all-star players for the remix to his Sex Playlist hit “Post to Be.” The R&B crooner swaps out Chris Brown and Jhené Aiko for DeJ Loaf, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign, and Rick Ross. Over the bouncy beat, DeJ kills her opening verse with some sexually-explicit rhymes.

“If your ni**a come close to me, I’ma make him eat this pussy appropriately / Like, hmm, Cheerios, la la / Put that Foxy Brown in his face / Ill Na Na / Fuck the rumors, got the hos with me / I’m a pimp by blood, ain’t no coachin’ me,” boasts the Detroit MC.

Trigga confiscates cell phones (“I don’t need no hos exposing me”) and references Jhené’s “booty like groceries” line, Ty blows some trees, and the Bawse caps it off with “Free Gucci Mane!”
